How you'd change the world with a 3d Printer

A few months ago, Perton Library held a Warhammer Make and Construct Day in conjunction with the Crafts Council's Make:Shift:Do initiative. We had a fantastic time teaching some of our junior users how to create scenery together with the Perton Library Warhammer Society, and particularly enjoyed using a 3d Printer loaned to us for the event by Create Education (in conjunction with Ultimaker).

Why are we telling you this? Well, we recently heard about another exciting project that Create were, well, creating... #CREATEYOUR3DFUTURE. 3D Printing has an enormous potential for changing the world and we wanted to join in with that- after all, as our Make and Construct Day proved, it's surprising what a little creativity and ingenuity can lead to!

Without further ado, then, here is the video we created in support of this project: "How you'd change the world with a 3d Printer". Enjoy!

With thanks to Ross Bugden for the music, which can be found here, and to Wikimedia Commons for the Mars Habitat image.
